Mommy to a 22 month old son (Zayd- pronounced Zade) & 9 year old sister Emma that plays my “mini” on the weekends

This native Houstonian, is a full time mommy & entrepreneur. Born to a Costa Rican mother and Iranian father, this mixed mommy is full of culture and creativity. Music, photography and mommy-hood are the most important things in her life. She has a 22 m.o son & a 7 year old doggie son named Cubby, who was a Hurricane Katrina rescue!

Here are some random things you might not know about me:

-I currently have over 220 college credit hours in various subjects including topics such as: Nursing, Geology, Fashion, French, Nutrition, Anthropology etc. etc. etc. just to name a few!

-I recently walked away from University of Texas @Houston - School of Nursing, because the curriculum was extremely time consuming & taking 18 hours with a teething monster was turning me into a lifeless zombie, addicted to coffee & forgetting somewhat important things like my name.

-I am currently finishing my B.S. degree in Dietetics at the University of Houston and I'm slowly beginning to return to my old self.

-I love kids, photography, music, art and pretty much anything creative! I also love helping people!

-Although general nursing isn't my "calling" the experience taught me so many things about human interaction & politics, illnesses & the medical system but the most valuable lesson it has taught me is about my own STRENGTH as a WOMAN!

-I like to soak ALL information in like a sponge! I read, research, debate and research again- (by research I don't mean google, although I am googling machine ;) and I do this because I like to be properly informed.

-I love hearing other people’s perspectives on things and am trying to work on becoming a better mommy, woman and friend!

-I am a Leo. I am super opinionated & vocal, yet I’m overly sensitive and extremely open minded.
